How much does an interpreter cost?
Fees depend on individual project effort, complexity, and required preparation time. Usually, calculation is based on daily rates, plus travel expenses and technical flat rates. For notary appointments, I offer a fixed price covering all professional preparation.
Can AI do the same as you?
AI systems are impressive tools for information retrieval but reach limits in live interactions. A human interpreter assumes legal responsibility, recognises non-verbal signals, and navigates cultural nuances or technical glitches. While AI translates words, I ensure your message and intention arrive precisely – without hallucinations or security risks.
We already have tech on site – can it be combined?
Yes, this is generally possible. I will coordinate in advance with your technical service provider to ensure that the audio interfaces meet professional standards for interpreting.
Can I get a quote without knowing the location or number of people?
For an initial cost estimate, the date and general topic are often sufficient. For a binding offer, however, the location and number of people are essential. We can start with a budget indication while you finalize the details.
How much does a certified translation cost?
Costs depend on the scope (number of lines) and complexity. After reviewing the document, I will provide a fixed price including the certification fee and shipping.
Do I need to bring the original document for certified translations?
No, a high-quality scan of the document is sufficient. Based on the scan, I can create a certified translation and send it to you by post. Personal appearance is not required.
Is my data safe when you use AI systems?
Absolutely. Unlike conventional online tools, I exclusively use Enterprise interfaces with "Zero-Retention" policy. Your data is encrypted, never stored on external servers, and never used for training AI models.
Are you bound by confidentiality?
Yes, as a publicly sworn interpreter, I am legally bound to absolute confidentiality (§ 189 para. 4 GVG). This applies to all information entrusted to me. On request, I will sign additional NDAs.
